FAQs
SHIFTit is partnered with Acute care facilities, including Mental Health, MedSurg, Tele, OB, and Peds specialties.
SHIFTit will store all requirements deemed by the facility in a secure Dropbox account. This ensures that no files will be sent via email and keeps all files safe and untouchable without permission.
The Healthcare facility sets all requirements and documentation. Some general requirements include BLS, Immunization, Drug Screen, Background Check, and Physical.
In addition to Clinical Rotation staffing, SHIFTit offers multiple services in the Healthcare field. These include background checks, drug screenings, and assistance with staffing in healthcare and dental settings.
SHIFTit offers a live calendar that is accessible 24/7. This calendar is updated in real time, which the facility can see immediately. The calendar provides multiple views, allowing visibility of the student/instructor names, instructor contact, and a picture of the instructor. The calendar will also list the shift times and the unit/s the facility will rotate in. This calendar can be shared with a team with a quick and secure shareable link.
Our SHIFTit Account Managers can assist Directors of Education, Chief Nursing Officers, Hospital Administrators, or others with more than Clinical Onboarding. Our team can also assist with General Orientation, locating preceptorships, dispersing hospital updates, and much more!
SHIFTit has seen a pattern of schools submitting their Clinical Requests six months in advance. This helps the facility stay organized and ensures that there is enough time to onboard the approved students for the clinical rotation in time.
Many students are onboarded through SHIFTit every day. SHIFTit can house your students’ healthcare and onboarding files, which will help you and your students work future rotations seamlessly if they attend facilities that SHIFTit is partnered with.
SHIFTit offers excellent Drug Testing services. We offer both Onsite Drug testing and Lab Referrals. Our team can go to your campus to screen your students for drugs. We can also offer requisition forms to LabCorp, Quest Diagnostics,, and others.
